Is my pet too old to be trained?

Every dog has the capacity to learn new skills, providing they are healthy, happy and comfortable.

What is your approach to pet training?

Our approach is reward based, focusing on clear and consistent training with a positive mental attitude.
We like to use treats and toys as rewards, to help the dogs decipher what their choices result in. A reward for a good choice is easy to understand - and makes that choice more likely next time. Repetition and good timing of reward delivery will result in a new cue being learned.

Providing the environment is suitable, this is the best approach to training dogs.
